David Menezes is a Global Sourcing Manager with Kinross Gold Corporation. His responsibilities include designing and implementing strategic management plans for a range of products to fulfil the requirements of 9 operating mines across 6 countries, in addition to supporting the development of new projects.

The global initiatives under his management are driven by concepts such as total cost of ownership and continuous improvement, enabled by strategic relationship development and rigorous sourcing processes. As the coordinator of cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, David focus on unlocking value while mitigating risks, identifying and engaging the right partners in the marketplace and ensuring distinct local requirements are understood and addressed.

Prior to his strategic sourcing role, David held other positions within Kinross Corporate Supply Chain group, enabling global business standards for optimal fit between people, process and technology, focused on Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics.
