Cheryll Cruz is the General Manager, Supply Chain for Weatherford’s Canadian region. Weatherford is one of the largest global providers of products and services that span the drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention cycles of oil and natural gas wells. She joined Weatherford in 2008 in various Supply Chain roles, but her current focus is on procurement and category management. Her primary objective in these areas is to build strong capabilities in Weatherford’s people, processes and technology. In this role she collaborates with cross-functional teams representing the various Product Lines, Global Supply Chain, other Weatherford regions, Health and Safety, Legal, Trade Compliance and Finance. Current opportunities include continued maturity of the region’s category management program, managing the region’s compliance to procurement policies and standard operating procedures, and developing a comprehensive vendor prequalification program.

Before joining Weatherford, she held various roles with Canadian Pacific Railway from 2003-2008. Cheryll holds a degree in Political Economy and Business Administration from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. Her personal interests include traveling (she's enjoyed visiting various countries in Europe and Asia, and is keen to visit Latin America and Africa next). She also enjoys reading great books and spending quality time with her family and friends.
